Our outer pots are sized for the nursery pot listed on the product page. The plant stays in its draining nursery pot and sits inside the decorative pot.
Measure the narrowest point
A 14 cm nursery pot needs enough internal width below the rim, not only across the opening. Glazed pots can taper quickly, so allow a little room for lifting the plant out to water.
If you are between sizes, choose the larger outer pot and use a saucer or a small pad underneath to lift the nursery pot to the right height.
